Humbucker F-spaced PAF+

Our modern PAF + is built to have a proper split coil resistance ( screw bobbin ) still trying to keep a low output DCR, so is wound with a thinner copper wire (awg43), while the slug coil keeps the classic vintage gauge and insulation ( plain enamel 42 ) with a slightly lower resistance. the alnico 2 bar give to the split coil a sweet smooth voice and add more clarity in full mode HB.

Usually the full HB neck comes at 9k and the proportion is around 65/35 % so screws coil will be 6k and slugs one 3k.

bridge as well is an hybrid of the same two insulations and gauges and the split coil is around 6,5 k while the slugs one measures 3,5 k for a total of approx 10 k dcr.

the humbucker is built with unbalanced coil so the tone of the humbucker go closer to a fat p90 with no hum.. more mids in the main coil that gets more presence, sided by the wide tone of the low output one.

 always super sensitive & a little warmer, complex tone with a clear and deep voice, versatile split and great body in the full mode.

a custom Alnico 2 raw cast gives an evident Vintage ” temper ” and is melt following precise chemical and magnetical poperties.

complex articulation of trebles and a great dynamic range of shades, thick attack, smooth powerful bass and balanced definition of every string.

Immediate touch response from strings and pots, mellow limpid voice with excellent sustain and full armonic overtones.
